Obama and his idea on Gas Price...

This week, I did my article on Obama and his view of the high gas price. The article stated that Obama think that the gas price will encourage Americans to rethink about the way we drive and the way we buy cars. Obama said that he'd seen a change in the sale of trucks, SUV and sport cars. He also said that he himself is owning a hybrid car. Obama also said that he believes that the federal government should help car maker makes fuel efficient a priority when making car.
I think that it is a good thing that Obama is coming out and indirectly supporting the cleanin up of the environment. However, I would like to see him, speaking about his view and what he would do to help decrease the gas price. I also think that it was great that Obama thinks the government should help out the car manufacture. To me, this shows that Obama wants to get this done and he doesn't want to make the manufactures doing it alone. By having a hybrid car, it shows that Obama is following his words and his beliefs; also it is an example to the people.

Same-Sex Marriage!

So California Supreme Court ruled that it was legal for couples of the same-sex to get married! I thought this was a great decision because I personally think that there is nothing wrong that gay people can get marry. I think that it is unfair for them if they can't be marry simply because they are gay. I think people are born gay, therefore it would be unconstitutional if they can't get marry just because they are not heterosexual, that would just be like the old days when interracial couples couldn't get married. According to my article, the decision was based on the fact that California legalized interracial marriage 20 years ago. To me, people who think that gay people want to get marry for the benefits are just making up excuses; because I think they actually really want to be together for the rest of their lives and to be recognized by law. I also think that the conservatives who are asking for an amendment to ban same-sex marriage in the constitution are being very mean. I hope that the amendment wont be added, and I do hope that Virginia will actually take that amendment out of our state constitution. I was talking to a friend about this issue and she made a great point that, why it is alright for people to be in abusive heterosexual relationship, but it is not alright for homosexuals to be in a caring and loving relationship?!?!?!

Personal: So I'm interning right now and I'm so glad that it is almost over! I just for free Ben&Jerry's Ice-cream which is yummy. But being at Capitol Hill when I'm sick is not fun at all...So ONE DAY LEFT OF INTERNING!!! ♥

Ok so Prom is two days away and I have to be in school. In english right now and I really dont want to work on this poem project...it's kind of boring! I just want to be at home sleeping. I dont want to intern for the government people and they dont even appreciate you...grrr.....its only 8:04 am and the day is going to be so long and so boring. I didnt want to work on my poem so that is why I'm here to write random stuffs that no one will read...which I dont mind....ok bye now!
